Please join the President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ian Jacobs and UNSW’s Cultural Diversity Champion, Arifa Sarfraz, in a mark of solidarity following the atrocious attacks in Christchurch and to reiterate UNSW’s commitment for a peaceful and harmonious campus this Harmony Day. #everyonebelongs

DETAILS: 11am - 11.30am in the Leighton Hall, Scientia Building, Thursday 21st March 2019

We encourage you to wear something of cultural relevance or the colour orange, which is a symbol for meaningful conversations and relates to the freedom of ideas and mutual respect. Orange is also the official colour for Harmony Day.

Later on Harmony Day this year, the Music Performance Unit and UNSW Wellbeing are presenting an interactive Body Percussion event in the Scientia at lunchtime, open to everyone.

Come along and click, stomp, clap, shake and sing your way to a wonderful Harmony Day!

UNSW’s Choral Director Sonia Maddock will be leading the session, which runs from 1.10pm-2pm in the Tyree Room.

Beginners welcome, no previous experience required.

Registration for the Body Percussion event is essential and places are limited so book here!
