Get Healthy at Work

Get Healthy at Work is a NSW Government service that aims to improve the health of working adults and reduce the prevalence of chronic disease. It aims to reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease and mental ill-health.

Healthy Lifestyle Checks

UNSW Wellbeing has signed up to the Get Healthy at Work program. This means that UNSW staff members can now access online health checks, provided free by the NSW Ministry of Health.

The Healthy Lifestyle Checks take no more than 20 minutes. You complete a short oline questionnaire, including your waist measurement.

You'll get immediate feedback, advice, information and referrals, where appropriate, from your results, to help you make healthy lifestyle changes. You may even be referred to the Get Healthy Information and Coaching Service, which will provide you with a University qualifed personal health coach and up to 13 phone consultations over a six-month period. All for free!

Your personal results are private and will not be seen by us or by the University. If more than 20 staff participate, we will receive a de-identified summary of the findings from all staff who complete the health checks.

How do I access the Healthy Lifestyle Checks?

Each faculty has its own dedicated link to the Healthy Lifestyle Checks and there is also a separate link for divisions. Please click on your link below:
