Mindful Month of May
In May, UNSW Wellbeing is focusing on mindfulness and its many benefits. Join us for an introductory webinar by Benestar, a weekly half-hour mindfulness practice, and a mindful eating meditation.
Mindfulness 101 - by Benestar
This webinar will help you to:
- Understand what mindfulness is
- Learn the benefits of mindfulness to all aspects of your life
- Start building mindfulness into your life
- Learn how to be mindful in everyday tasks

Weekly Mindfulness Practice
In these guided online sessions, you will actively learn and practice mindfulness. There will be one session each week in May, as follows:
- Thursday 6 May - 2.30pm - 3pm
- Wednesday 12 May - 9am - 9.30am
- Thursday 20 May - 2pm - 2.30pm
- Thursday 27 May - 9am - 9.30am

Mindful Eating Meditation
In the past, we have conducted a chocolate meditation as part of the Mindful Month of May. We are unable to provide free chocolates this year, but we can still provide you with the Chocolate Meditation audio track, and you can use whichever food you prefer!
The mindful eating meditation can be conducted at a time to suit your team. We are aiming for sometime on Tuesday 25 May. It takes 5 minutes, so can easily be done in a team meeting - why not book it into your teammates calendars now so you don't forget?
