Thursday 8 September 2022 is R U OK? Day.

UNSW has been celebrating R U OK? Day virtually for the past two years. This year, we will have a hybrid celebration.

Live-streamed Town Hall

At 2pm on Thursday 8 September, the Division of Operations will host a Town Hall event featuring a talk from R U OK? Community Ambassador Kailash Sarma.

Kailash is a TEDx speaker, Co-Founder of the Adademy of Speakers and Chair of the RUOK? Youth Advisory Board. His keynote will be followed by a presentation from Benestar's Helen Moussa, outlining the services which are available to all staff and their family members under our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Free Coffees

Caffe Brioso on upper campus and the Fitness & Aquatic Centre Café on lower campus are generously providing 100 free coffees each as part of a 2-for-1 offer. Buy a coffee for yourself and get a free one for your colleague!

Registration is essential and tickets must be printed and handed in to either Caffe Brioso or the Fitness & Aquatic Centre Café when ordering. Click on the links below to register:

Free Massages - 10am - 2pm

Free massages will be available on R U OK? Day at locations on lower, middle and upper campus, and at the Paddington campus:

  • UNSW Fitness & Aquatic Centre Café
  • Elwyn Lyn Conference Centre, Paddington Campus

If you would like a free massage, simply come to one of the above locations between 10am-2pm on Thursday 8 September.
