Did you know that two in three Australians are predicted to be diagnosed with skin cancer before the age of 70? Melanoma can affect anyone, regardless of their skin complexion. Fair-skinned Australians are at a higher risk of developing skin cancers, but people with olive complexions can also develop cancers.
The good news is that 95% of skin cancers can be successfully treated if detected early. Skin checks are highly recommended for people with all skin tones at least once a year.
The consultations, with a registered nurse, run for 15 minutes.
Appointments are available on the Kensington campus from 9am–5pm on:
- Wednesday 3 December – Health Translation Hub Consult Room 02.036 (on Level 2)
- Monday 8 December – Health Translation Hub Consult Room 02.036 (on Level 2)
The Health Translation Hub is on the corner of High Street and Botany Street.
