Lunchtime Walks to Coogee Beach and Fred Hollows Reserve

With the weather getting cool and the Global Challenge starting up, the season of lunchtime walks is about to begin. Every two weeks from 22 May until 29 August, group walks will take place at lunchtime walking to Coogee Beach and the Fred Hollows Reserve. These locations have been chosen as they are beautiful, relaxing places within easy reach of campus and it is possible to visit them and return to campus within a one-hour lunch break.

Walks start at 12.15pm to allow people who have meetings finishing at 12pm to make it to the meeting point.

Dates are as follows:

  • Wednesday 22 May
  • Wednesday 5 June
  • Tuesday 18 June
  • Thursday 4 July
  • Wednesday 17 July
  • Wednesday 31 July
  • Tuesday 13 August
  • Thursday 29 August

To walk to the Fred Hollows Reserve, meet at the Library Lawn. Meet at the Michael Birt Lawn for walks to Coogee.

Bookings are not required, but if you'd like to book in so that you receive a calendar reminder you can book here for Fred Hollows walks and here for Coogee walks.

All staff are welcome to participate in the lunchtime walks - they're not just for Global Challenge participants.
