Wellbeing Study for UG Medical Students

Research Study

Exploration of Wellbeing, Help-Seeking Behaviours and Perception of Available Services Among Undergraduate Medical Students

Researchers at UNSW Sydney are seeking volunteers from first, second or third-year medical students to participate in a research study. The study will help us learn about their levels of wellbeing and help-seeking behaviour especially during Covid-19.

Aim

The aim of the research is to understand more about the wellbeing needs of medical students as a group and design more effective services to meet these needs.

Mindful Month of May

Focus on Mindfulness in May

Mindfulness is the state of being in the moment, being non-reactive and non-judgmental to the environment around us. Mindfulness can give us focus and improve the quality of our time, leading to greater productivity, life satisfaction, and happiness. It can increase positive emotions, improve physical health and lower levels of stress, depression and anxiety.
