Free Staff Skin Checks on Campus – February 21 and 22

After two wet summers, we’ve finally had a good one! If, like many of us, you’ve spent a bit of time out in the sun this summer, it might be time for a skin check.

Melanoma can affect anyone, regardless of their skin complexion. Fair-skinned Australians are at a higher risk of developing skin cancers, but people with olive complexions can also develop skin cancers. Skin checks are highly recommended for people with all skin tones at least once a year.

UNSW Wellbeing has arranged for free skin cancer screening checks for staff members during February.

The consultations will be 12 minutes long, with a qualified doctor. Please be on time for your appointment, as the doctor may not be able to complete a full check if you are not there for the entire consultation.

Appointments will be available from 9am – 4:50pm on Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 February.

All appointments will be held in the UniSuper offices in University Terraces near Gate 2 (map reference B8, corner of International Road and Third Avenue, directly opposite International House).

Registration for this service is essential as limited appointments are available.
